EDD

posted 20th Jan
So, according to the due date calculator I am going to be 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow. The due date calculator on this site goes off of your period cycle when the place I went to get a pregnancy test did not. Unlike most people's 28 day cycle mine is 21 days. Does anyone know if that could possibily change the due date? The heath clinic says my EDD is September 15th while the due date calculator says I'm due September 9th...
I'm confused. Help?

Which calculator are you using? most ask how long your cycle lasts.

Not really, unless you are thinking about abortion.

No I'm not considering abortion. I have a huge fear of having a miscarriage so as soon as I hit 12 weeks it will be a huge relief for me. That's the only reason I'm wondering...

When you hit 12 weeks your risk for miscarrying is lower.

Why 12 weeks? Your chance of a miscarriage lessens at the end of your first trimester, which ends when you hit 14 weeks.. I've always been told once you make it that far, you should be in the clear. Have you not scheduled an appointment yet with your ob to get a dating ultrasound? I had mine done at 8 weeks, and 1 day.

Eh, just pick a day somewhere in between. Chances are, you won't have the baby on your EDD anyway. Originally mine was April 17th, then at my ultrasound it said April 12th. Not a big difference so my doctor decided not to change it, and I'm sticking to the original.

I'm seeing a midwife but they don't schedule an appointment until 12 weeks. I know its not that big of a deal. I was just curious.
