Pack N Play... Which one??

posted 20th Jan
So, I've narrowed it down to these two.. But really can't decide which one would be best.
I need it to pretty much be a portable nursery to keep downstairs. (:
Does anyone have either of these? If so, what do you think about them?

1. Graco Newborn Napper Pack N Play : Kinsey

2. Graco Silhouette Pack N Play : Townsend

Thanks! (:

I don't have either one, but I like #1 better. I like the design of #2, but I'm leaning more toward #1 because there's the removable bassinet thing on it, which is a huge plus, for showers and stuff.

I would go with the Silhouette. I wouldn't feel like my newborn was safe just sleeping in the napper anyway, so it's just a waste to have it IMO.

Does the napper come out? I always understood it as just being attached to the playard, not having it's own legs or anything (not removable in other words).

The ones that I've seen as models in the stores come out so I was assuming this one did too.

I have one very similar to the first, and the napper does come out and has it's own legs.
As well as buckles to buckle the baby in.

We have #2...actually we have 2 of them [Deco & Windsor prints]. I love the design of the Silhouette PnP's! The bassinet is roomy, the canopy is great if you have a light on your ceiling [so it isn't shining right in their eyes], the changing pad folds up/out of the way w/the press of a button, the wipey case and storage are actually really functional for holding all your diaper needs, it vibrates, plays nature sounds & has 2 night lights [one shines into the PnP, perfect for finding paci's in the dark].

Yep its removable. I mean, you can't use it on its own but it can be attached into the bassinet part. The newer style ones the newborn napper can actually be taken out and used separately but not w that model.

I like #1 with the newborn sleeper. Definitely something I would get when we have another LO.

Yes it is! If she would find one of the newer ones w the newborn.napper they look ten times easier! They actually click in and out and you can use it separately I'm almost positive!!!

LOVE the first one. DS napped in the napper for a few months and loved it. It vibrates and plays music.
