Ovulation Test, confused

I took a strip test yesterday morning that was almost potivie. I picked up the FR ovulation tests and took one last night. It was no where near postivie. I figured I missed the surge but decided to retest this morning. The test strip is very postivie but the FR is still no where near postivie. I started having the thick clear discharge yesterday. Here is the picture.

That IS confusing. I've never tested with more than one kind of OPK in a cycle, except in the beginning when I used digitals to confirm. I would go ahead and have sex today and keep testing to see what happens. Do you temp/chart?

I only had one test strip left so I bought those. Huibby had an interview Friday in Florida and he stayed the weekend to look around. He comes home tonight so I'm sure that's on the agenda!   I had a chemical last cycle so I was using the OPK to help predict my period.

It's such a pain after a miscarriage. I had one last month and kept tabs on my HCG levels and started OPKs about a week ago after finally getting negative (charting my BBT the whole time) but then this morning I got a post O temp so I have no clue what my body is doing.

Oh I know. On CD 5-7 my ovulation tests were just slighter lighter then these. I was like what the heck. There is no denying that top ovulation test is positive though. I'll take another this afternoon and possibly tomorrow morning. I'll start counting tomorrow as 1DPO. I'll just have to remember it might be off.

I have read though that sometimes the FR ovulation test don't always show as dark as the control line. I took one before and I did have a strong surge and it came out really positive but I had held my urine for about 3 hours prior to taking it beings I was at work. What kind of test strips are those? I use the Answer brand and they work just fine. But I say go with the test strip they may be more sensitive than the FR one. Either way BD like crazy!

I have no idea what brand the test strips are. I know they aren't Wondfo but I got them from Ebay. I took both about an hour after I got off. I'm going to take another FR later this afternoon to see what it says.

Maybe it's just cuz the FR isnt as sensitive but that's a good idea. I usually test twice a day at least. Mine are getting darker so I'm gonna test once more today then wait and test tomorrow around noon or so. Or I'll wait to test when I get off of work. Me and hubby are waiting to bd. We've had no luck by bding every night so we're gonna skip at least 2 nights to see if it helps anything.

I've heard people say it's better to BD every other day. I don't think it would really make a differnce but who knows. Tons of baby dust!

Thank you and yes bding every other day is best. That is how we got pregnant the last time. We had been doing it every night with no luck but the minute we started doing it every other night in 2 cycles we were pregnant. I think we're gonna have to really try and stick to that because I'm really thinking my hubby has some issues that is affecting his soldiers. But thanks and loads of baby dust to you also!! How'd the new opk come out? Did you retake it this evening?

I took another OPK and it prett much looked the same. I'll take another in the morning and see what it says. I'll probably quit taking them after that because I'll probably drive myself nuts. My DH had some issues with raditon in the military and was worried it might of affected him. Before my youngest was born we had two miscarriages. It took over a year to conceive her. With my youngest it took one try too. Having the chemical last cycle I'm scared that it will take forever again.

I still can't pull a dark line with an opk either. I think it's because I'm drinking so much water. I'm gonna wait til this evening to test. I tested this morning when I got up and the second line looks like it's getting darker. But who knows. It may not take forever with you. You might be one of the lucky ones. But I've been thinking about things and sometimes I want my rainbow right now but others I think I am not really ready for another baby because it'll be a year me and my husband are married and I'm actually content right now. I'm not sure if a baby is gonna help things are hurt things you know. I know I sound weird but it's a self struggle and I hope I'm not making a bad decision if I decide to wait. I haven't told my husband about this yet.

No I don't think it's wrong. Sometimes a little couple time is better. Only you know when you are ready for another. I'm sure your Hubby will understand completely. When we were trying for our second it took over a year and two miscarriages. I came to realize that it would happen when the time is right. My FR ovulation was postivie this morning. I guess those test strips just aren't as accurate. Ican't believe the big difference in such a short time.

Beautiful positive. But mine are like that too. I took a test this morning and the test line was a bit darker but still light. Took one when I got home but urine was too diluted. Took another about 3 hours later and now the test line is on the borderline of positive if not positive. So I think me and you are both ovulating at the same time!! What CD are you on? I'm on CD16. Last month I ovulated finally on CD27 and the month before it was CD19 so I think they're slowing getting more normal and I'll probably eventually have a 14 day luteal phase. Right now it's only 10 days from ovulation til next period. But good luck BDing and loads of baby dust to you!!! I'm not feeling my ovaries like I normally do but I won't talk too fast it might come at the last minute.

I am onCD 14. Last month we only didn't use a condom once and that was CD 16. We will be probably BD tomorrow too. My back is killing me and Idon't know why. I also got some soreness like down in my crotch area earlier. That would be awesome if we both ended up getting pregnant!
