I know. I've been there. I ended a 10 year relationship over something along these lines. Love of my life. Talk about feeling stupid! Of course you feel stupid, how else are you supposed to feel? But it doesn't mean that you ARE stupid. It just means you got tricked. Shame on him, not you.

i don't think it really even matters what the lie is... big or small, a lie is a lie... My ex husband was my bestfriend... we told one another everything, or so i thought..got married & moved 10 hrs from home.. only to find out everytime we visited home he went and had sex with girls when he said he was spending time with his family.. i found emails, pictures, txts confirming it all.. i was so heartbroken.. he even lied to my face when i showed him a pic of his naked (now wife) "friend"... i left & couldn't be happier...

OP, don't let his lies bring you down.. karma always comes around & there's always someone better who will be completely honest with you.. i would cut all ties and act as if he didn't exist.. liars will continue to lie, no matter what they say.. they don't change.. you're going to be better off without someone who can't even be honest.

i know it hurts now, but i promise you better things are to come.. i'm so glad i made the decision to leave my ex because i met the love of my life. we got married and had to beautiful boys, one angel and one living baby.. we were married four amazing years until he passed away..
