Quoting Brandi Lynn White:" Yep he gets that for breakfast and he still spits it up 2 tablespoons of oatmeal mixed with formula. Nothing stays all the way down. "

My guess is acid reflux. Try smaller feedings more frequently. Say he eats every 2-3 hours, feed him smaller portions every 1 1/2 hours...cut them in half and see if that helps any. Poor guy, I'd refuse to leave the pediatricians office if my baby done that after so long (roughly it takes 2 weeks for adjustments)

He was in the er 2 weeks ago since he spit up 19 times in one day and then spit up blood since his esophagus was so irritated. But since it wasn't alot of blood they didn't want to do any test at all and sent us on our way

My LO is also 3 months. 3 months and 8 days to be exact lol.....we had some issues with him spitting up really bad they thought he needed surgery on his stomach thank heavens he didn't. we were in the hospital for almost a week for him. He was 2 months old 7 lbs. he wasn't growing. I started putting cereal in his bottle and not only does he not spit up but we've had awesome weight gain and he's almost on track where he should be! We finally hit the 10lb mark!!

Mine was born 10lbs. He is gaining weight like crazy since I started the rice in the bottle but he still spits up alot. That is why they wont test him since he is gaining weight. But if he didn't have that I am sure he wouldn't be. He is on the similac with rice starch added so that makes him gain weight too.

Maybe his belly is irritated by the formula? LO couldn't handle the Enfamil A.R. He spit up twice as much from that. If your dr isn't doing anything about it I would see about finding a new one

I am going to wait and talk to the specialist. I called the doctor and demanded a referral to one since I was done with this.
