They say they found a knife in the bed of the truck. Remember the cop asking for a knife to "cut off his shirt"? Am I the only one who noticed the cop later put that knife in the BED OF THE TRUCK?! smfh

My husband couldn't even finish watching that video he was too disgusted.

You can tell there was no knife with how frantically the cop was looking for a knife to justify his killing. He was warranted to shoot. He warned him, as he is supposed to... But he didn't need to shoot that many times. If you can't visibly see a gun he should be shot in the leg or shoulder. What is more disgusting is that not one officer started CPR when he was visibly stopped breathing and responding. All officers are trained to do so. THAT is what sets me completely over the edge. That poor woman just wanted to save him. That was awful.

watching this video makes me remember why i hate cops..im sorry but most of them are becoming more dangerous then the crimanals..and whats sad is nothing happens to the cops...i live in wis and i read once how a cop was out drinking driving home down in milwaukee hit a women with his car and nothing happened to him

I'm sorry, I can't stand it when people say "I hate cops" because you are generalizing a major group of officers who do take their job seriously because of a few bad ones throughout history. The reason why it seems more now is because we have news 24/7 and we have free access to it. Cops don't get enough credit especially how dangerous this job is. I work along side them every day and they are some of the bravest people I know. They risk their lives every single day to save people's lives, even those who "hate cops" and are the first ones to dial 911 when something happens.

there's a LOT of grey area between "no way" and "i would have done the same thing"

There is no such thing as shooting someone in the leg or shoulder to injure them. If you pull out your gun, you are using deadly force and are using it to kill, not injure.

If you want to subdue someone, you use your less than lethal things, such as taser, mase, asp, etc. A gun is lethal. You pull out your gun to use deadly force.

A gun has a longer range than any of those things. If you don't want to get closer to a suspect, a gun being used to subdue them is an option.

Me personally? Yes but that's why I'm not going into law enforcement.

Well if you feel your life is in danger, you pull out deadly force; i.e. your gun. Someone mentioned you don't bring a gun to a knife fight. But a knife is a deadly weapon. You can be killed with a knife.
