re: Baby shower for #2?

Even if you had four girls I'd say do it. Every woman deserves to celebrate her pregnancy  

I had a huge shower with our first. Second was due 13 months later so we had a diaper/wipes party for her and we used hand-me-downs. We got rid of everything once she grew out of it because we didn't think we wanted more. 4 years later and we were trying again. ;) We did have a nice sized shower but we got all of the big items ourselves (or will be once age appropriate) Though mine were thrown by my sister and aunt, I say why not, every baby deserves to be celebrated.

My mom wants to throw me one if I'm having a boy. It makes me feel kind of greedy, but my kids will be 4 years apart and I don't have any baby items anymore. I plan on buying everything myself, but if my mom wants to throw one, who am I to stop her?

That's how I felt when I got preg with Jade, I didn't think people would want to come considering I had such a big 1 for Jade, my mom and aunts said *fine were throwing it for Jessie, u can come if u want*

I wouldn't have another shower unless the 2nd was another gender. Maybe have a diaper and wipes party instead.
