Baby stuff!!!

I dont know what I am having but I am really wanting mainly neutral stuff anyways....but money is also tight right now so I need cheaper stuff....so my question is does anyone know where to buy baby stuff? Like are there any facebook pages or online yard sales that anyone can tell me about? Anything will be appreciated.

Best to look in your area. Just search your city/county/area name and "yard sale" and variations of that. Someone on your friends list is probably involved, as well.

Also, in your phone book, there may be a children's consignment shops option.... check those out! They can be very reasonable.

Definitely type in your town name or a neighboring large town name and "buy sell trade" on facebook and you might find a couple groups. I've found one for my area and it's GREAT. Got some amazing deals!

craigslist, look for area mommy groups on facebook, or area yard sales on there..

Craig's List, local used baby shops, we have a facebook page in our area that we sale and trade on. Just google it.

Right now babies r us are having 60/70% off lots of clothes..(but only in stores) i bought several pcks of onesies for around $3-$4 each. you can also google places like once upon a child, childrens orchard, ect. there maybe a childrens thrift shop in your area. there is also www.bookoo.com that you choose your area.

I would definitely suggest buying a carseat and probably a crib new due to safety issues - used carseats are very, very uncertain in terms of safety and it's best to bite the bullet and buy new, even if it's not an expensive one - same with cribs if you plan to use one, they are recalled so often and I would never trust a crib that someone else had put together and used before - I am totally not stuck up at all, I buy from craigslist, thriftstores and garage sales ALL the time, but these two items are very, very important and could potentially be very dangerous.

I got my carseat and crib last night at babies R us for less than 300.00 - I bought a mid-priced convertible carseat (the Graco MyRide 65) and a crib that was 149.99 - but I had traded in two outdated items and received 25% off of each, so my crib was only like 125.00.

If you really cannot afford new, I would suggest alternative sleeping arrangements, my older son never had a crib, he slept in his pack N play and it worked out great for us, we also used a moses basket and we co-slept.

have you checked walmart.com for new carseats? sometimes you can find some for $50. my in laws bought a travel system for super expensive and i didn't even use the stroller so this time around i'm just going to get one at walmart to save money.

usually they are good for 6 years, unless they were in an accident.
