I think you are really over reacting. It's ok for her to take your child, you need to let go.

my mother pulled something similar when DD was just under 1 month old. said she was taking her down the road (i was staying at their house and they were letting us get some sleep). they were supposed to me gone 20-30 mins. we woke up 3 hrs later and they weren't back. no call, no text, nothing. they'd went shopping and out to eat and stuff.

I would of been mad, anytime one of the grandparents takes one of the kids they tell me EVERYTHING they do or go.

if something happends they have the next of kin at the hospital my grandmother will call me or the hospital.

It has nothing to do with that I just don't like not knowing where my kids r. If say something were to happen to me or my husband I know where they are to notify or whatever. I just like to know where my kids r at ALL times regardless of who they r with.
