Dating after separation

How long did you wait to start dating after your separation. Especially if you unattached yourself emotionally long before the actual separation.

My separation was abrupt, I caught him cheating, but I left him in November of '09 and started dating May '10.... so 6 months?


Then I met the man I was supposed to be with, and we're married with another baby  

Not very long at all. An embarrassingly short time  . It probably wasn't healthy to get into another relationship so quickly, but so far it's working out and I think we have a future.

4 years.

I needed to focus on raising my daughter and to get myself in order before I got into a relationship with anyone else.

Separated in Feb.

Until the divorce was final. We split in March 2011, divorce final 13 months later in April 2012 and I went on my first date in May 2012.

Ahhh thank goodness im not the only one. We separated back in may then got back together in aug. Now iive left him again definitely for good this time. I wasnt planning to get in a relationship so soon but I met someone and it just feels right.

I started separating around June 2010. I started seeing other people around January 2011. Nothing serious though. I met my fiance in February of this year and knew he was the one pretty early on.
