Bleeding question

OK so I got mirena on the 7th and I had sex on the 16th it was pretty rough sex so I started bleeding on the 16th. Problem is I'm still bleeding and its quite a bit of dark red blood. My period wasn't due until the 21st and my period is always on time like clockwork and sex has never made it come early before. I know you can't tell me whether or not to go to the doctor but I was wondering if anyone had ever experienced this and is it normal.
