Growth spurts...

Are there certain months/ages when LOs will hit a growth spurt, or do they just happen whenever? And stupid question, but how long do they last?
LO has been a great sleeper....so far, sleeping feed to feed. Roughly around 3 - 3 1/2 hours during the day, and 6 - 7 hours during the night. But the past 2 days he has been waking up every 2 hours during the day, and 3 hours during the night.
Is it possible he could be having a lil growth spurt?

I know one is six weeks but there are others as they get older, too.

How old is he? I think they happen every 2 weeks but i'm not sure. They last a few days.

He's 3 weeks old.

That sounds like a growth spurt to me.

Yup, DD went through one at around that age.
