early labour??

So i had a membrane sweep yesterday morning.. Its 5:45am here so got woken up woth period type.pains that starylt at my back &then spread to stomach &stay there for a little bit then ease off.. Ive had them for about an hour now but.i havent timed them yet as i dont wanna sit up all night timing them and then them easing.off as i know the sweep doesnt work for everyone... I havent had a mucus plug yet but ive had a blob of a clear snotty looking thing.. I was just wondering what you. Ladies think.. If this is normal after a sweep i shall just have to try and get some sleep lool

The blob is the mucous plug lol
And yes its normal after a sweep, sometims it can go away and sometimes it can turn into labor. If I were you I'd be doing squats or bouncing on an exercise ball to try to keep things up.

The blob was more than likely your mucous plug. Sounds like you are having contractions and could be starting labor. I would time them for maybe 30 mins or so and see if there is any kind of pattern. IF there is then keep timing, if not then I'd try and get some rest. Either way I'd probably try and get some rest if things are getting started.

Sounds like early labour to me. I never lost my plug,I just started having wicked contractions after my 4week check on Wednesday. 27 hours later my little boy made his arrival.
