They take your cervix when they take your uterus regardless. That is a plus there. I am not sure what you are talking about on part of the vagina. But, your cervix goes as soon as they remove your uterus. I hope you get some relief soon!

The vagina isn't the outer part, it's actually the soft tissue on the inside. I never knew that until I had the issue with pre cancerous cells. When he was explaining surgery should it become cancer. I always thought it was the outer part, but apparently not. LOL!

I know what the vagina is. I am curious as to what part they are talking about taking. Is it an area around your cervix they are removing or would it be like they were doing a "tightning" proceedure and take a length wise strip out?

Yeah I think its the part around the cervix. I don't see how they could remove much more. Sorry, most people are like "how do they remove that?" thinking I meant the outside, so I thought that's what you meant.

I am wondering how far your cells have spread. It is common to take a "little" extra when removing the cervix but, when dealing with a case like yours, it is iffy. I just really hope someone takes you seriously soon.

Found out yesterday I have Hemorrhagic Follicle Cysts. One ruptured sunday and it is kicking my butt. My doctor said I have to stay on bed rest at least 5 days, then after that we will see how I do and he will decide if I need to do it longer. Not happy about that.   I am trying not to take the pain meds he gave me. I told my husband I would be trippin' balls and he laughed and said "Nah, you won't be awake long enough to trip. LOL! I don't like taking advil, so oxy is a bit scary for me.
