Prostitution should absolutely be legal. If a woman (or man for that matter) wants to have sex for money then who exactly is that hurting? I am not talking about sex trafficking or forced situations. I am talking about free will situations where nobody is in danger.

I do not believe street solicitation should be legal as it is MUCH more dangerous than monitored brothels. If there were more places like the Bunny Ranch it would be a much safer profession and it would also help the economy because these women would be able to declare their profits on their taxes and it would give more people work. Prostitutes, owners of the brothels, medical staff to see and maintain the sexual health of the prostitutes, etc.

Not really when you factor in the fact that people will still be hooking on the street or Craigslist. You are just going to have police trying to stop the street crime AND have to regulate and manage the brothels.

Anyway you're wrong, law enforcement needs would go way down if prostitution were legal...courts wouldn't be nearly as congested etc. Brothels would have to hire their own private security as with any business so it wouldn't take away any resources, and of course there will always be those who do it illegally but NOT NEAR AS MANY if brothels were legal.

Everyone seems to think making it legal is going to clean up the industry. Do some research on what is going on in Nevada and how hookers can't seem to stay in the areas of the state where it is legal. I agree with the state of Nevada for making it a misdemeanor which means you give them a ticket and they walk.

My facts can be easily found by reading up on any of the claims I have made. I am not giving opinions based soley on feelings which is what has happened in this thread for the most part.

It should be legal. It would help decrease drugs, abuse, murders, etc. Nevada is proof of that.

Where did you hear this? Nevada is well above the national average in rape and murder. I remember reading a store where it was ranked as the least safest state in America.
