Song writers often use words that fit inside the note profile they are going for. When you're singing a song, the lyrics have to flow with the rest of the music.

I would prefer a song that made sense. To me a song is all about what the lyrics mean. I probably sound like a Mariah Carey fan, honestly I'm not really. I just enjoy debating. It appears I have lost this one though.
