Hugs to you <3. I went a week overdue and they found out my son was breech. I went to my Midwife appointment that day and they swept my membranes right before they found out, and it put me in active labor. I had to get my blood work rushed because I was having contractions every 3 minutes right before my surgery. I highly suggest it, but it pretty much only works if your body is ready.

Hahahaha I was blind shaving my lady bits for like 2 months. My husband was impressed; I mastered that smurf!

LOL it IS an impressive task! You take a giant chance of slicing off a labia or two, but when successful it's such a victory.

I'm thinking I might ask DH for some help. It's probably no more dangerous than me trying to do it.

when my doctor checked my cervix to see hw dilated i was she asked if id like my membranes swept . . . sounds like it hurts like hell . . and her whole fist was in me i felt like i was guna smurf on her lol tmi . . . so needles to say i said no to the membrane sweeping wish i would of said yes now though

Hahaha I remember feeling like I was going to fart on my Midwife every time she checked me. The membrane sweep hurt a little bit, but nothing too bad. The vag exams are the worst though!

Im not sure exactly what your situation is, but I've read that sex (where the man ejaculates inside you) stimulates dialation. Sorry if this is TMI but if you REALLY wanna get the ball rolling, apparently this is one way to do it that is scientifically proven! Good Luck!
