Need to Vent

SO is driving me crazy... He is off work right now because he starts a new job next week once all the paper work goes through but since he has been off work he has been keeping me up all night. Every night I try to go to bed around 11 but most nights I can't get to sleep until 3-4 in the morning because he is walking around the room and turning the lights on and off. He does all this knowing I can't sleep in. Im up every morning by 7 regardless of how much sleep I've gotten and can't get back to sleep. I've asked him to go to another room if he wants to stay up or to turn a movie on quietly while I sleep if he insists on staying in our room but he makes some stupid excuse every time. Last night I started getting ready for bed at 10 because I had an interview this morning with a company that had a work from home option and by 12 when I was unable to sleep because he wouldn't stop talking to me or turning the lights on I went to the couch. He then preceded to follow me to the living room and turn the tv on in there and talk to me. I understand that he has been working as many hours as possible since he was 16 and the break must be nice but I don't understand why he needs to keep me up with him.

Maybe he just wants to spend as much time as possible with you before he has to go back to work? Try locking the door. How about buying ear plugs and that thing that you put over your eyes? (Forgot the name) Waking him up, when he's trying to go to sleep?

If i lock the door he just knocks until I open it but Ill have to give ear plugs and an eye cover a try. If that doesn't work I guess I only have to tough it out for a week before he starts work again and goes back to a normal sleep pattern.
