Luke as a middle name....

So I need a first name for Luke. I'd prefer a name that isn't totally crazy or younique but also not something that isn't common. Any suggestions?

I like the name John Luke...maybe it's just because it's from Duck Dynasty though.

@Vanilla MILFshake. I don't think i have ever seen Duck Dynasty and i thought of John Luke just before reading your suggestion to the OP.

Sadly I hate the name John or Johnathan. My dad's name is John and with our last name there would be about 200 other kids and adults with the same name combo. Thanks for the response though

I like Micah Luke adn Donavan Luke. I can't use Isaiah cuz it's my oldest's middle name. DH doesn't like Christopher, and we have some close friends who have a Ryan so that's out.

really? I don't hear of any in my area. I really love the name, but didn't end up using it for this baby.
but now that I think of it, I do remember seeing it in those "top names for 2012" lists.

Yeah it's very very common here. Most of the good names are taken! Lol it makes it soooooo much harder.

I knoww! I was actually really happy when I found out I was having a girl, it felt like there was more to choose from from the girl names than the boy names, but I had the hardest time with SO bc we really wanted a boy at first so we looked at mostly boy names and we couldn't agree on one to save our lives.

We liked Beau. idk if that works well with Luke, though. :/

My problem is also my DH. He is so very picky. I love flower names for girls but he refuse them. I love more ordinary names but he insists that it has to be something that he hasn't really heard before. Everyone here has been really good about helping me out with names on here and he shoots down like almost all of them. I wanna shake him sometimes. Ugh....
