oatmeal

How many of you fed oatmeal between rice cereal and baby food? That might sound dumb but I have no idea! I am just a little worried because i have heard that it can cause constipation. I have been giving him rice cereal for a little over a week now so I don't know if I should keep on with the rice, start on oatmeal, or if it is okay to just go to the baby food.

We tried it between rice and squash. I just did it to give her a change. I figured it would be boring to have the same thing everyday, so it's just there as an option. We haven't had any constipation issues, but she doesn't eat a whole lot either.
