What kind of chicken will go with this?

I'm making sweet potato casserole tonight at DH's request. It has a brown sugar and pecan topping   Yum!

I have chicken to cook as well, but I'm not sure what I should do with it. What flavors would go well with the sweet potato casserole?

I'm thinking something indian. But definitely something on the savory side.

i think beer chicken would be really good. it doesn't taste like beer really, either. lol. it's a very nice thing to make during the winter, though. omg, it's so good

How do you do yours? I usually do mine in the crock pot but it's too late in the day for that now

there is a recipe for baking it in the oven. i usually use a bit less in the oven. and are you doing cut parts of chicken or a whole chicken? if you were doing a whole chicken, you can do beer can chicken. you pour out (or drink, whatever, lol) half the beer in a can and then put the beer can down inside of the chicken standing up. it makes it really moist and nommy.
