How much could you lift? Do you think 15 lbs (and probably less; it's my going to be eight week old, he's seven weeks and 12-13 lbs now) would be too much? I only plan on moving him from the couch to the bed or so, nothing major.
I had mine out and the doctor told me no lifting anything heavier than I think 20 lbs as long as it wasn't straight from the ground. waist level was fine to lift. If you feel anything pulling I would stop and not do it of course
my daughter was 9 months when i had mine out and holding her wasnt a problem at all for at least the 1st 2 days i would make sure you have someone to do most of the baby handling though because it does hurt to lift my daughter only weighs 18 lbs now at 19 months so she might have weighed 12 at 9 months not real sure exactly but i know lifting her was painful but holding her and feeding her was no problem
Thanks everyone. My doctor didn't mention anything at all and then when I was looking online I found a lot of mixed answers; some said they were told no more than a gallon of milk. Thankfully there's only about two hours of the day when DH is at work and the kids are awake but I will have to move him a little bit.
