pain from spinal block

I had my c section a month ago today and i still have this weird aching all up and down my spine almost like a spasm or nerve pain.
He did have trouble getting the spinal in where he couldn't feel my spine from all my swelling and it took him about 10 minutes of trying before it was successful. it was extremely painful from where he hit all my nerves and the pain i get now feels just like i'm getting it put in all over again. is it normal to have the pain a month after?

If I were you id give them a call. They can do a blood patch which will help!!!!

ugh that pain didnt go away for the longest time. i think my daughter was about 8-10 months... shes almost 18 months and im having another next month. wahhhhh.

my friend had a c-section like 2 years ago and she can still feel where they put her spinal..she said bending over or going up steps feels like she is pulling a muscle.

What is a blood patch? I still have pain 3yrs later. And Ill be having another come this August.

Its used when you get spinal headaches from spinals/epidurals.

They use blood to close the holes in the spinal cord. The blood clots and patches the leak.

I guess I should have asked the OP if she even has a headache.

Yes horrible headache in the back of my head and pain up the back of my neck

you should ask your doctor. but after mine with my first child, i would have sharp pain. That lasted for a year and would cause me to walk like a folded person out of a scarey movie. I also had it done it a untraditional location because of tattoos. Good luck but tell your doctor!!! ps now you have me worried about that happening again...

I didn't have any pain getting mine or afterwards. I def would go see the doc to get it checked out and see if anything can be done for relief.
