Irritated cervix?

Anyone have experience with this?

I've been spotting (only in my cm discharge and only when I wipe - sorry tmi) for 5.5 weeks now. I'm 11 weeks today and it started at 5 weeks and a couple days. After my transvaginal ultrasound it was worse but went back to "normal" a couple days later. I heard the hb at my appointment on Wednesday and my ob said it is most likely an irritated cervix. Dh and I haven't had "fun" since the spotting started, but he said everything is extra sensitive.

Just curious.  

When i was pregnant wiht my son my doctor said i had a fried cervix.. which means it gets irritated easily and can bleed /spot lightly. Perfectly normal!

Oh man! Did you spot the whole time? It makes me nervous. Lol. It's not always there but I just feel like it will never stop and continue to freak me out.

I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and I've had slight bleeding since 6ish weeks. It was a little more than spotting and the doc thought it was just my cervix being irritated, but I just had an appt last Monday and she found a polyp on my cervix. That is what is causing the bleeding.

Yeah it sucks because I saw a nurse practitioner since my OB is hard to get an immediate appt with and I needed to hear the heartbeat for reassurance. I'm pretty sure she didn't remove it because she can't, so I have to wait until February 11th to see my OB. Apparently its simple to remove and I would stop bleeding so I can't wait.

I just hate it because its not a lot, but every tiny bit is enough to freak me out... We are planning on telling family next weekend after 12 weeks but I am so nervous with the spotting. Grr. But my uterus popped right back out and IAm starting to show. I can't hide it much longer.

Same here. I told everyone right away though, I can't keep a secret like that. lol

Lol. It's hard, but I did it! Lol. Next weekend we will be telling.
