Are Multi-Grain Cheerios okay for...

posted 18th Jan
Infants?
DD's 9 months, she just had Cheerios for the first time yesterday. I've been too paranoid to give them to her because she has no teeth and they're harder than her puffs. Well, she LOVES them.

But, I got home and all we had were multi-grain ones. So are they okay for her or no?

Yes!! They are actually better, as far as fiber, for her.

Okay, good! The thing that made me unsure is the box says "lightly sweetened" so I didn't know   lol

I've never ate them we always just have regular so
Idk from experience the sweet level. But it would too ably taste ucknwithout some sweetening. But it's nothing compared to a sugared cereal like cinnamon toast crunch or something with sugar crystals all over it haha.

Oh yeah, definitely not lol. They don't taste sweet at all, and there's 6 grams of sugar in a full cup of them. So I didn't think it was a big deal, but just wanted to double check

I mean sugar is a common cooking ingredient. Almost eveything has sugar in it.

Its fine because of the fiber. But multi grain is actually sweeter than regular Cheerios fyi. I purposely buy it because it taste like a very light honey nut Cheerios.

DD had regular cheerios and multi grain.

I was advised to NOT give *her the honey nut cheerios though. Due to the fact they are made with honey.... but I thought cooking with it was fine. I don't know.

*edit; can't seem to get my thoughts together.. sorry.
