re: when to have baby #2?

I'm getting implanon soon, which lasts 3yrs. So I think when it would be time to get a new one put in, that's when we'll try for #2. I would hope to be stable by then, they way my bf is going with work and school we'd most likely be good in 3yrs. Especially if he starts saving money now for the future. And he should hopefully be done with college next year and then he's gonna look for a job in his degree, maybe go on to get a bachelor's or something, but idk.

my son will be six in june, so there will be a nearly six year age difference between him and this baby.

DD and this baby will be 4 1/2 years apart.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to have them closer.... but at the same time I think this was right for us.

I always thought to try for number 2 when the first one was in pre-school. So i'd have a break from 2 kids a couple of days a week. But since finding out I have PCOS we are going to start trying around this july or august, and our first will be 1 in September. It took a year and half to get him, and so I don't want to wait a few years and then start and it take a couple more years to get a 2nd

I love hearing every ones feed back on this! Its nice to know when other people had their other children and when it seems to be the best time to have another one, age wise for the first one. I definetely want to be more stable and be in a house, even if its just a town home, before we would have number 2, but I don't want them to be spaced out like me and my brother are. Definetely doesn't work age wise for us, and I don't think it will work for my children either, not if I want my kids to ever really get along. My friend is just now starting to get along with her brother, they are also 6yrs apart. She's 20, he's 26.

My brother is two years younger we fought nonstop bwing close in age doesnt garaumtee thwy will get along but it dwd is nice to have thwm cloose in age

My little brother and I are ten years apart. It sucks. Only good thing about it, is I get to take him to the movies, give him girl advice, take him on trips when DH and I go to trips, basically act like his second mother.

No she was born at 38 Weeks she was born Feb 9 2012 he was born March 24 2010......came off BC Dec 2010, found out I was pregnant July 2011, had her Feb 9 2012, he turned 23 months Feb 24th turned 2 March 24

Oh sorry. You had said you got pregnant with your second when your first was 16 months and had them when your first was 22 months. That's only 6 months so it was confusing. You must have found out you were pregnant when your first was 16 months.

i want to wait until my daughter is like 2ish....but then again I don't really think that will happen because I don't think my current SO (her dad) is the one for me. and i don't think we'll break up, move out, move on, be ok, find someone, and fall in love in a year and two months...lol.
