Sadness

I do suffer from depression and apparently today is decides to strike again. I am less than two weeks away from my due date and all I can think about is holding my little girl. I just want her here so badly but I want her healthy and safe too.

SO thinks we should start having sex all the time, go for long walks and eat spicy foods to get labor started. But I am reluctant to try a force mother nature. If she isn't ready then she isn't ready. Now if only my heart and my brain would agree on that subject I might be able to finish out my pregnancy in happiness.

Do other mom's experience this same conflict when it comes close to delivery? I mean I am not in any pain and have no medical reason for her to be born early. She doesn't bother me being in there, I just want her in my arms. BTW she is my first and I have dreamed of being a mother for a long time now.

I think everyone gets excited, I promise she will be here soon.

I was the same way with my first. Everyday for the last month I would tell mmy ex I want the baby here today. It ddrove me crazy. And then after she was born I missed being pregnant. Lol. Don't worry. She'll be here soon enough and you'll be able to hold her all you want.   good luck.

Usually those things only "work" if baby is ready. Enjoy your last 2 weeks and have sex with your hubby if you want to!

I am in the same spot kind of. However I am use to being busy all the time work and college and since I am taking the semester off & work cut my hours since it is no longer the holidays I am finding myself extremely bored. If I were constantly busy time would feel like its going faster but sitting at home with my sons every day and not having events to look forward to is killing me which makes me want her here NOW! Then again I do not want her here so quickly lol I am nervous about having THREE little ones all to myself while my fiance is away at tech school. So half of me says I want her today and the other half wants her to wait until she is ready to come on her own!

Those things will only work if baby is ready, don't worry you won't be forcu.g her out. And its totally normal to be anxious and want your baby in your arms.

I am use to being busy too. But I am off work for maternity leave and have nothing to do. I try to watch my nieces and nephews just to fill my long days but they like to wear me down so fast. SO is trying to cheer me up by taking me out today. I might see if he will buy that new book I have been wanting so at least I can read something during my time off. Thanks for caring.
