Vaccine Exemption - MN

I've skipped the MMR for DD1 and DS won't be getting the 2nd dose. He starts school in the fall - now I am starting to sweat whether or not I am required to get them for my kids.

Does anyone have kids in school K+ in MN that have skipped any vaccines? I am able to get them into day care by signing a form and having it notorized saying I am aware I am putting them in danger... and my son has been in SE for 3 years but he had the first MMR so he has always been caught up... until he starts K when he won't be anymore.

I will likely die of hysterics if I am forced to get the MMR for any of my kids.

I'm just going to say that even though it's a different state and all:

The vaccine form I fill out is the same whether it's for daycare, preschool, or public school. If you have an exemption for G for daycare, it will probably carry into elementary. You're just going to need to get it notarized again.

If a notarized statement signed by the minor child's parent or guardian or by the emancipated person is submitted to the administrator or other person having general control and supervision of the school or child care facility stating that the person has not been immunized as prescribed in subdivision 1 because of the conscientiously held beliefs of the parent or guardian of the minor child or of the emancipated person, the immunizations specified in the statement shall not be required. This statement must also be forwarded to the commissioner of the Department of Health.

Thank you! I am hoping they are using the same form that day care is using. It looked like it was meant for school... but G's 5 yr appt. is coming up and I started sweating bullets.

Our pedi has tried several times to get me to give it to A but I literally was in hysterics the last time she asked so she stopped.

we are lucky we live in a state that has medical, religious, and philosophical exemptions   only good thing about MN lol.
