7yr old and a concert

I was thinking for my dd's 8th birthday present getting her tickets to one direction but my dh says shes to young to.go to a concert... Im not sending her by herself ill be with her..what yall think is 8 to yog to go to a concert

Nope... I was 5 I believe when my mom took me to new kids on the block *don't laugh*    

I'm 28 now and still remember bits and pieces of the show, and walking into concert, plus its not like she'll be the only young girl there, with those kinds of concerts its pre teens, young girls and parents haha... we've seen nsync twice, bsb once...

I was in a crazier crowd when I went to see rolling stones, I got contact high and started crying at the end because it was over, then went home and ate a panful of brownies  

I think its a cute idea
