I hate being so emotional *small vent*

So my emotions are getting to me the more I have to stare at these hospital walls. I get no visitors m-th. I have very little things to look forward to. Well today was supposed to be u/s day so I've been counting down to that and to finally getting company today. Now the dr comes in and says she doesn't see the point in an u/s since I have my csection scheduled next Friday. I'm so emotional. It's like I get something stuck in my head and it's finally here and I'm excited and then it's just ripped away. I know it's dumb, but it's these stupid little things that keep me going each day.   *sigh*

Maybe let the doctor know its the one thing you had to really look forward to & ask if they can anyways, wouldn't hurt to ask  

It's not dumb hun :/ kinda not fair telling you you'll be having a U/S then cancelling at the last minute i'm sure it's something you were looking forward to it's awful being stuck in the hospital

Well i told her I would prefer to do it at least to have some relief of anxiety that my cervix is still long. She just said "I'll call the peri and ask, but I don't see any point". I just had another dr in here This morn ask when my next u/s was and she didn't seem to mind. And the dr who came to talk to me tues who scheduled my csection said as long as the u/s went good he didn't see a problem going to next fri. I don't like this dr. I just never seem to do good with foreign drs

Thanks. It's just frusterating. I dont get a lot of excitement or things to look forward to. My day consists of counting down to meal time
And monitor time  

You not got any books to read or magazines just to take your mind off stuff a bit?

Aww   I'm sorry mama. I know one week of bed rest in the hospital with Jonah just about killed me, can't imagine how you're feeling! But it's okay, one more week to go and your precious LO will be here and make everything worth it! You're doing great

Yeah I have stuff to do. Im not bored. I just like to count down to exciting stuff that gets me out of my room or is diff than the everyday crap. It gives me something to look forward to. The weekdays have no excitement.

I would get ahold of the doctor who said you could go until next Friday if this ultrasound went well. Seems like this ultrasound is pretty important in deciding if they let Scarlytt stay in until Friday, so he/she seems like a doctor who might get it taken care of.

She acted like the only reason to do the u/s was to confirm the vp again. No dumbass they want to check my cervix length too to make sure I'm not shortening. Gah.

I'd get ahold of that hospital director/manager from yesterday or try & get ahold of that doctor. This isn't something to play around with IMO.

I think asking the nursing staff is a great idea. Hopefully it goes well
