what would you do?

So i had my son on Jan. 6 at 31 weeks. Hes healthy and all they want him to do is eat and sleep. So when i go in to visite him they really dont want me to bother him which i understand. They told me this will be like this for at least two weeks  im going crazy like really. My days go by sooo slow.
The point of all this is what do you ladies do to make your day go by faster like a hobby?? i pretty much spend the days by myself because SO has to work two jobs right now.
Plus im not used to staying home i worked 5 days a week for the last 2 years its just wierd. I feel like i have no life...

i swear baby gaga has been my only friend since i got pregnant. And i do all that and it seems to slow down my day

i completely understand. uhm...try sleeping alot, that always helped me when my days seemed slowed

I went through that with my daughter but they would let me change her diapers and hold her for 10-15 mins during feedings.
I just sat beside her in the NICU all day, mostly just staring at her or reading her a book. I would go home at shift change and shower, take a nap, and then go right back.
It was so tiring but I wanted to make sure I was there for everything...like they had to take her temp every 2 hours and I didn't want a nurse doing it if I could so I made sure I was right there at all times.

I read a lot of baby books. I can recommend some good ones if you're interested. I was pumping too so that took up a good amount of time. I also started to get doing diaper changes and even hold them while they got their tube feeds in the early days (mine were born at 34 weeks though) and then started trying to put them to breast soon after that. Other than that stuff, I took a lot of pics of them in their incubators and attempted to keep myself fed and hydrated! Not a lot of sleep... Good luck to you. Your days will be very busy in no time!
