Certainly a possibility.  

I used to work in a doctors office and there was a girl who came in legit 2 times a week for 3 weeks because she was sure she was pregnant. she kept getting a negative with the blood test and the last time she came in she got a positive on it. She was pregnant for sure she kept saying the test says positive that i took at home and it definitely was after a few weeks. Weird, but can happen.
