cephalohematoma?

Its the build up of blood between the babys bone and skin on their head and it turns into a bump, its a birth injury my baby has and was wondering if any other of you mommas had the same thing happen to your baby and how long it took for it to go away or how you treated it? My baby is 2 weeks and her bump is still there , the dr said it was caused by her trying to come down too fast and basicly crashing into my pelvic bones so it made a big bruise ......
