re: Holy smurf.

We live on a super busy street. I went to the bathroom (number 2 so I was in there a minute, lol) and I came out to the door open and a man walking up to my house with my dog and 2 year old son.  
I cried for hours. I guess my son was on the side walk about to go on to the street and my dog was stopping traffic and almost got hit. That night my husband installed a chain lock since he had unlocked our other locks.
It still makes me sick to this day and I felt like a total smurf mom.

That is absolutely terrifying. I can't let my family watch my kids anymore because my youngest is autistic and they have let him get out NUMEROUS times while I was at work. I can't even express how scared I have been over this. One time, I was taking a shower and they were "watching" him and he got out and was playing in the creek....the CREEK for crying out loud. I had to run outside in a towel to get him....Tis why I don't work anymore
