Power pumping

10 minutes on the pump and 10 minutes off for 2 hours.. Anyone done this? Did it help increase your supply ?

But prepare to have sore and possibly bloody nipples after.

Ouch....   I've been putting lanolin on before each pump... hopefully that will help... I'm sure there's no avoiding it getting sore :/ how much did your supply increase?

Yes, it did!! I've been exclusively pumping for 4 months now. My DD wouldn't latch but I still wanted her to get breast milk.

About 2-3 ounces per feeding.
I exclusively pumped so I could actually see how much she was getting.
After doing that for about 3 weeks off and on.
I went from getting 3ozs per session to about 6-7 ozs.
But I was also doing other things to help increase supply.

Yes, I tried, and no, it never made a difference. I also took Fenugreek and Brewer's Yeast. Nothing helped.

I'm having the same problem!! He latches but it's always too shallow and nothing I've done helps so I've been exclusively pumping since he was a week and a half!

I'm taking fenugreek too which already boosted my supply up an ounce but I need another two ounces every feeding to get to where I won't have to supplement at all with formula!

Really? That sucks I'm sorry! Fenugreek has worked a little so far so hopefully this pumping will help too
