is this normal?

For the past hour or so I have been experiencing severe menstrual like cramps in the lower left side of my stomach so bad I can barely walk because it would hurt even more to put pressure on my left leg. I don't know if this is normal or not but before the cramp started my upper stomach kept feeling really tight and I had two Braxton Hicks contractions within a few minutes of each other which has never happened to me. Even though I drank a bottle of water and laid down to rest (which is what I am still doing at the moment) I am still hurting! I will be 34 weeks on Sunday should I be worried about this or is it normal?

take a shower or bath, or even use a heating pad on the area to relieve muscle tension. I don't know how much water you've been drinking but you need to keep drinking it, you may have been dehydrated prior to starting to drink the extra water which can mean you may need to drink a tonne of it to get up to speed.

Well for the past few weeks I haven't been drinking anything but water and milk...A LOT of water because my OB said I could be dehydrated also which is why I have majorly cut back on the soda and have been drinking at least 3 16oz bottles of water everyday! These cramps wont go away I feel like my lower stomach is burning or something!

I had the same pains at the end of my pregnancy and it hurt so bad I was in tears my doctor told me it was nothing to be concerned with and to keep drinking water and rest.. I still don't think it's normal...

How long did you experience them before you had the baby?

It would just happen randomly every few days or so. It started around 34 weeks and it stopped happening around 38 weeks, taking a shower really helped and stretching (like try to touch your toes and point your toes away from you) before I got out of bed

Is this normal, i been have bad pain down there and an im not bleeding and i dont want to go to the er for nothing

It can be normal but only your doctor can tell you for sure.
