tips on getting a good latch?

I can't seem to get Ariana to open her mouth wide enough when it comes time to eat. She is only 8 days old and we are still getting into the swing of things. Also I have big boobs/nipples so it's hard to control them and her. I know she can open wide but I can't seem to get her to do it at feeding time and she seems to get very frustrated.

Rub your nipple on her cheek or lips, that used to (actually still does) help get DD to open up her mouth

Hold your breast like a hamburger, put your nipple on her nose and she should open her mouth, if it's not wide enough just brush against her mouth. It should make her open wider.

Watch a youtube video on proper breast feeding! I spent all day today with a lactation consultant, but I can't really explain what I saw her doing, lol...

When my little girl does this, I try to stick the nipple in when she opens wide to cry.

I also hold my breast and squeeze to make the nipple flatter (like previous poster said, like a hamburger) to help her get it.
