Paragard IUD Late Period

I had the paragard IUD since Feb of 2012 and have always had my period every 29 days... I am now a week late and I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago and it was negative! Anyone else have this problem? My dr told me I should always get my periods.. I have always been regular even when I had mirena before the paragard? Any input would be appreciated, TIA<3

I missed a few periods when I had the paragaurd.

I'm in the same situation except I have Mirena. I got it back in May and have gotten my period every month except its late this month. I ordered some pg tests online today so hope to test in a few days when I get them.
Maybe try testing again in a week or two and if it's still negative then just see if you get a period next month? Could just be messing with your cycle.

It was normal for me to miss a period for months at a time with both iuds.. Except this last time with the paraguard, thought i was just late and turns out i am 5 weeks pregnant and my iud had fallen out of place

AF came two weeks late lol so I guess it is normal
