Questions about starting bc after childbirth

I'm 4 weeks pp, and am wanting to start the mini pill the doctor prescribed me now so at 6 weeks when I get checked ill be already on bc and it be effective do I can have sex with my husband. But I was reading the information it came with and it says breastfeeding mothers who also supplement formula can start this pill at 3 weeks pp and strictly breastfeeding can start at 6 weeks pp. I'm ebf but don't get why I should have to wait my doctor never said anything??

why you have to wait 6 weeks before have sex again? it's to make sure everything has healed up good after delivery.

I started when my DD was about 2 weeks old. As soon my bleeding stopped. And I would give it at least a month to get in your system without using protection.

No why do I have to wait six weeks to take my bc
