Microwave popcorn tastes sweet ??

We popped a bag of popcorn for the kids and the popcorn is sweet?? its aACT II popcorn and like doesnt expire till june, it was microwave.. any clue if this is poisonous or why it might be sweet?

Look on the end or edges of the bag. They usually print what kind is is there along with manufactor date.

I LOVE Kettle corn too. So yummy! No one else in my house likes it. More for me
