placenta encapsulation

I planned on doing this with this pregnancy, ( yeah go ahead and say it's gross what ever)

I found a lady to do it and everything, when I get further along I am reserving my spot with her.

ANYWAYS... I was really surprised with my OB today when he was going over everything with me, and he said "do you want your placenta?"
I said "uhhh well kind of, I was going to do encapsulation"
He just nodded and said "Oh okay cool, I'll put that in your file now and if it changes we can always change it!"
  you're actually fine with it?! lol the lady said that a lot of times hospitals and doctors are weird about it.

I want to do that next pregnancy. I hadn't even heard of doing that when I had DD!

I did like RIGHT after I had my daughter. I think it's such an awesome idea.

I wanted to do it with my second but we didn't find someone right away, I got a phone number about a week after my second child was born but I felt so good that I never bothered to get it done. The placenta is still in my freezer!

My lady will come to the hospital while I'm in labor or right after birth and then she said she would deliver it the very next day. It's going to be so awesome.

they dry out your placenta and put it in pills?

what do you use the pills for?

It helps with different PP issues, like baby blues, milk supply, and combating fatigue.

I love child birth, I think it's one of the best feelings in the entire world. If I could feel that adrenaline rush every day of my life... I would be happy lol
