pregnancy differences with dads

posted 17th Jan
My first two belong to my ex husband. Long story short he is a sperm donor, Jimmy is their father as far as that's concerned.
Both of my LO's were sort of tiny (i'm 4'9 and 105 lbs soak and wet, ex husband was 5'8ish? maybe 130 pds). My son was 7 lbs even at 41 weeks, daughter was a 35 weeker who weighed in at 5lbs.
This is one is massive compared to them two! I know the dr's est aren't always close to being right, but they are estimating around 8-9 pounds.
Is this because of the differences in fathers maybe?

I dont know. My youngest sons bio dads other sons werent as big as my youngest was. He was 9lbs. My oldest sons father was on the small side when he was born, and our son was 7lbs 5 oz.

Genetics do play a part, I don't know how much though. I don't know if I make chunky babies, or if it was because her dad was 9.2, but DD was on the bigger side and super long.
This time DH was 4 weeks early, so I have no idea what to expect with weight since I most likely won't go into labor 4 weeks early

Thats odd that they are already estimating the baby to be so big when things can change! I am not sure how it will work out though. My ex and I had two sons first 9 pounds 10 oz second I was induced a week early 8 pounds 5 oz and they didnt give me any estimate on this baby or tell me it will be different. However my fiance is a bigger guy & weighed 9 pounds 10 oz when he was born so I am hoping this baby stays under 10 pounds lol.
