Update

So I posted yesterday about home remedies for toothaches. I continued to take the antibiotics and apparently all of a sudden I am allergic to penicillin...so had to go back to the hospital. I look like a lumpy umpa lumpa. WTF. I am still in pain but they gave me non-narcotic, narcotic, and a mouth wash for numbing....still in pain and can't have the tooth extracted until the infection is gone. Anyone know anything about swelling cause the whole right side of my face is horribly swollen.

Just ice it as much as you can for now

Something cold (I usually use a bag of frozen veggies) for the swelling.

I have been having a lot of tooth pain lately too. I did heating pads, cold packs, gargling salt water, swishing peroxide in my mouth, to crushing up aspirin and putting it on my gums.

Then finally I said "Screw it" and took a second Ambien so I could just sleep through the pain.
