No, that's not all I got out of it. Hence the reason I said if she had treated my kids like crap the first time- there wouldn't have been SECOND time. Also, they do it back and forth. Did you miss that part? When I go ask to borrow things I have to replace the entire item, not just what I borrowed. That's what it said. So I said- stop lending back and forth. Brilliant? Right? Lmfao.

You don't just "cut ties" with family. It's a web. Her, her SO- her SO's mom and her SO's mom and his sister, they all know each other in the community and are friends outside of their relationship, unless she was lying so she didn't have to fess up to talking smurf about her mom and giving ammo as far as causing drama about who pays who how much.

YOU dont cut ties... I would. When it comes down to it, my IMMEDIATE family is more important than extended.

Actually yes, I have cut ties. In this situation, I would not. Those problems are fixable. Hang out as a family, not babysitter. Do pot luck meals. No one is independently responsible for feeding everyone. Say no to lending, even if their dense. Don't ask for crap.

That's your opinion.. I have a different one. She's already talked to her, and nothing changed. She's fed up. *I* personally, would cut ties.
