So much easier, free & i've always gotten a good amount back.

If you don't trust it you can print them out before you're done, take them to H&R for a free review, we did that before filing today [IRS isn't accepting until the 30th though] but just for the hell of it. H&R couldn't get us anymore back than what I came up with.

that's great. I told him it was free he thinks he will mess up and i know nothing about that stuff.
H&R took some out of our return for them to do it.. I cant remember how much though.

Yeah H&R charges a good amount.

Is the IRS finally finished will all the paperwork?

Smurf, I hope so.
I don't think they're "finished" but so far it's pushed back to the 30th, you can send your taxes thru [I did today] but they won't go to the IRS until the 30th.

Do you have state taxes? I was gonna go ahead and send mine but it said i'd have to file by mail for my state refund and i do NOT want to go through that hassle. So i decided to wait a little longer.

No, we don't.
Did it give you a date? Some paper work they're still waiting on, today the paper work I needed came in so I was able to send it.

No, just said they were still working on a few things and i could file by mail. The federal is ready just not state, hopefully it's done before the 30th

They're taking their sweet time seems like.

They're also saying, it's 21 day returns now, so could take up to 21 days to get it back.

I know, it's stupid. I think it's been like that though, they give a 7-10 business day window for when it usually shows up, which for me it's always deposited on the 10th day. But it can take up to 21 days, i think that happened more to the people where it flat out said their taxes were delayed, our were last year and we still got it on the 10th day.
