Does your 4yo take naps?

If they do, how do you manage to get them to bed at a reasonable hour? What time do they nap and for how long? What time is their bedtime?

My daughter is almost 5 and will nap occasionally. It's rare though.

She stopped taking naps right around her 3rd birthday because she'd take a 3 hour nap and then not fall asleep until midnight.

Now she goes to bed around 7 PM and wakes up between 5-7 AM (sometimes later, if she's real nice to me. haha)

Yes she does. She is getting better though about not taking them. If she doesn't take them sometimes she is in melt down mode all evening.

If she does take a nap then she goes to bed by 10

If she doesn't she goes to bed waaay earlier. But she also sleeps in. She has no set time to get up in the morning.

No. She does have an hour a day where it is quiet time though. She may play with puzzles, flip through books, color a picture, or something else quietly. That takes place during her brother's nap.

He'll be 4 in April but I recently cut out naps because he won't sleep until like 11. My youngest cries from 8-11pm every night so DS skips the nap and goes to bed at 8. When he was napping he'd nap for 3 1/2 hours and go to bed at 9 or 10.

mine usually naps... is supposed to be napping now but is running around. Drives me nuts, he never goes down in the afternoon anymore but randomly passes out after 5 and then wakes u plike right when he should be going to bed.

My son stopped taking naps around 2. He goes to bed by 8PM (sometimes earlier) and is awake btw 7-8AM.

Definitely not. I wish though   He stopped taking naps closer to him turning 3 which was December.

My 4yo son maps for my husband and my MIL, but not for me, lol.... He goes down from noon to 2pm and his bedtime is 8:30pm..

Yep, DD still takes naps.
Why? Because she still needs them, otherwise she is crabby all day and will fall asleep at 5pm.
As far as a reasonable time, she lays down at 11 and wakes up at 1.

Yes. If she didn't my 3 yr old wouldn't, and then I'd have two super grumpy kids by bed time.
Our day starts at 7:30, down for naps at 1 up by 3:30 and then bed at 9:00. We don't have an early bed time because no one is in school, and that way they get more time with daddy (he gets home around 6:30-7)

No, he stopped when he was like 18 months old. He falls asleep sometimes but only if were in the car. He goes to sleep around 8-830.
