You cannot put sunscreen on a baby till they are 6 months old. My baby was born in May last year and honestly when they are that young the best bet is to keep them out of the sun. Make sure they wear hats if they are in it though.

you should probably buy cloths that are soft fabrics with long sleeves, something light so they aren't hot but they aren't exposed either. Some hats would be a good idea. As for the sunscreen you can't use that on babies less than 6 months of age, baby sunscreen will even tell you that on the directions.

My oldest was born in AZ in April and my second was born in CA in July so when we were at home we would just either leave them in a onesie or a diaper. If we were going out then they would usually be in just a onesie or if we had a cute summer outfit we would put them in that. We tried not to expose them to the sun and were usually in their baby carrier with a blanket over it anyway.

My daughter was born in May.
I suggest a lot of light weight clothes. I put cotton booties on her, too.

Pretty much anything you would put on a kid ...shorts, tshirts, dresses, one piece outfits, onesies etc. also make sure to get some sleepers for those cooler days.

I loved the bubble suits for her. Convenient for me, and comfy for her.

My son was born April 30th. He wore lots of rompers, short sleeve onsies and shorts. They say no sunscreen on a baby under 6 months but the rare occasion we were outside for extended periods of time I put it on only exposed areas. Like I said they don't recommend that but my son never had a problem. I also bathed him asap afterwards. Summers in WI suck and being covered up isn't always an option.
