I need quick help!

My LO (17 months) is having surgery in a few days. She is having bad diarrhea and I need to know how to slow it down? Anything I can give her? Constipating foods/drinks?

They will not postpone surgery and I know she won't eat or drink much the day of surgery so I'm hoping to stop the diarrhea so she doesn't end up needing IV fluids.

Bananas constipate LO.

BRAT diet, but first, you need to figure out WHY she has diarrhea. If it's a tummy bug or something it's better to just let her get it all out.

Brat Diet.

She's had a runny nose for a week, but it's a lot better now and a cough but she does have asthma. She's been tugging at her ear today so it's probably all connected somehow...

Doctor is booked until next week. I'll probably end up driving an hour to the walk-in clinic.
