DH and I are really liking the name Virgil Ernest.

Virgil after the poet, Vergilius Maro, and Ernest after my deceased grandfather.

It just seems to be a fitting name, but I am wondering how it would fare against the public's eye.

If it matters, DD's name is Irina Victoria.

I think they're both okay names, but they don't flow together.

i almost like virgilius(sp??) more than virgil. virgil reminds me of a fish and i don't know why lol. sorry.

i do think ernest is a cool middle name though!

Lol...I knew someone with a cat named Virgil so that's what I think of.

I also like Vergilius much better.

I love Virgil! My husband is really pushing for it for a middle name if we have another boy!
