my first one was very heavy. Im totally jealous, I got my periods back early. my oldest daughter was ebf, never got a period, and found out I was preggo when she was six months old. with my youngest daughter I was nine months pp and with my youngest son it was about ten months pp. they were all heavy horrible periods

That's how mine started, and then got REALLY heavy- like the heaviest period I've ever had in my life. I was changing super tampons every hour.
I got mine at 7 months pp while EBF (and no solids yet). My subsequent periods have been irregular (but I was before I got pregnant as well). My second was normal length at 5 days with mild bleeding, but my third (2 weeks after starting BC pills) lasted two weeks, one of which was really light.
AF sucks

i honestly would be so stoked it it was an oopsie baby. unfortunately the chances of that essentially 0 because DH is not feeling the baby thing anytime soon haha.

I really don't remember what my first one was like after my first child, so I suspect it was pretty normal for me. It was at 9 months PP. I remember being quite disappointed since she was still nursing frequently through the night.

After my second, I didn't have a period until he was 23 months old. It was fairly light at short, no cramps. I was pretty emotional though. Now, all my periods have been light and much shorter (went from 7 days down to about 4 days  ), however, the cramps are coming back, they are less intense then before.

I normally get my pp periods back pretty early. I got it last time around 4 months. The first month was some brown spotting/slight bleeding that lasted a couple of days off and on. The next month I got a real period with heavy bleeding and it lasted slightly longer than week. After that it was irregular for a while until my son's 1st birthday or so. Now it's pretty much back to normal.

Me and DH were in discussions of a Vacectomy the morning we found out it wasn't my period! It could happen... We really wanted a second after DS and my periods came back really wonky and I ended up using Clomid toget pg with DD never in a million years did I expect to get pg not trying prior to my first pp period.

You'll know if instead of picking up and getting super heavy it stops. That and it started to hurt really bad when DD nursed. And she started getting really fussy and weaned.

I had brown spotting for 2 days. It slowly got heavier, and hit night 3. I wore a pad to bed, and when I got up to feed Wesley in the middle of the night, I sat on the edge of the bed and felt a small gush. It got on my white down comforter   I thought at first it could have been a miscarriage, but there was no clotting. Plus I hadn't had sex so I knew it wasn't that.
